Research interests: Political economy. Economic analysis, theory and policy. Business economics. Economics of the international integration. Maritime economics and finance. History of economic thought. Philosophy of economics.

Teaching interests: Economic theory and policy. Maritime economics and finance. International economics. Scientific methods, knowledge theory, epistemology.

He was born in Athens. He studied at the Athens School of Economics, and the University of Piraeus in Greece, as well as at the University of Aix-Marseille in France. He has taught many economic courses, applied statistics and econometrics, at the Hellenic Mediterranean University and the University of Piraeus. He has published two books for international economics and business statistics in greek, while published papers in distinguished academic journals where he is invited as an anonumous reviewer.  He has worked in the private sector in financial services companies as CFO, while he has also served in academic administration positions. He writes articles in electronic newspapers or websites, intervening in political, social and economic news. Since 2020-'21 academic year he serves as a Professor of Economics at the Accounting and Finance Department, of the School of Administrative, Economics and Social Science, of the University of West Attica, Athens, Greece.
